Public Participation Bulletin Board

ELI's Public Participation Bulletin Board is no longer being updated. Please contact gulfofmexico@eli.org with any questions. Last updated October 29, 2019

The public has a crucial role to play in Gulf restoration and recovery. However, it can be difficult to track the various public participation opportunities. This page highlights the major public participation opportunities for the three main restoration processes: the Natural Resource Damage Assessment (NRDA), RESTORE Act, and National Fish & Wildlife Foundation (NFWF). For more information about public participation generally, please see ELI’s Introduction to Public Participation. For each state (and for the Gulf as a whole), we provide an overview of open comment periods, as well as ongoing public participation opportunities. On the map below, click on the icon for the geographic area you are interested into view information for that area.

In true "Bulletin Board" fashion, we would love to hear about opportunities we missed so we can add them to the map. Please email David Roche at gulfofmexico@eli.org to add to the map. Thank you!
