Environmental Protection in the Trump Era is a collaboration between the Environmental Law Institute and the American Bar Association’s Civil Rights and Social Justice Section. The book covers the critical changes to the environmental protection landscape, tracking the Trump Administration’s actions on:

  • Climate Change
  • Clean Air and Water
  • Pipelines and Offshore Drilling
  • Toxic Properties and Superfund Sites
  • Rolling Back Regulations
  • Cutting Budgets and Agencies
  • Environmental Justice

Each chapter, under 5 pages, concisely introduces then analyzes each change since January 20, 2017. The publication is written for the interested public, not just attorneys, and is rooted in changes to laws, regulations, or agency practices. The authors plan a new edition every 6 months. To support the public discussion, the book is free to download. We welcome donations in support of further work on this project.

Also available for download as an epub.
