ELI Summer School 2026

Join us for ELI's 2026 Summer School series! Sessions will take place virtually every Wednesday from June 17 through July 22, from 12:00 Noon to 1:30 PM Eastern Time.

Each summer, ELI convenes a complimentary seminar series that offers an introduction to the legal and policy foundations of environmental protection in the United States. Taught by experts in their fields, the audience will be introduced to fundamental areas of environmental law, including the Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, Endangered Species Act, National Environmental Policy Act, climate change law, energy law, environmental justice, and toxic chemical regulation. Faculty will also incorporate major regulatory and judicial updates to the laws.

All are welcome! Participants will have opportunities to learn, hear updates, and ask questions. The series is intended for undergraduates, law students and graduate students, and working professionals new to or looking for a refresher course in environmental law (such as interns, summer clerks, and associates, or second-career professionals).

Summer School is free to the public, but registration for individual sessions is required.
