Session 4: Energy Law and the Energy Transition
This Summer School session will introduce participants to the legal and regulatory framework of energy law in the United States. Expert panelists will discuss the basics of energy law and policy, including energy resources, regulatory agencies, and markets. They will also discuss the energy transition—the energy sector’s shift away from energy based on fossil fuels to energy based on renewable sources with the goal of producing zero carbon emissions—and how recent developments have impacted the transition.
