Nora joined ELI in August of 2016. As a Research Associate, her work focused on helping local governments in flood-prone communities to navigate resources for adaptive management. She also supported ELI’s report on international environmental rule of law for the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP). Before joining ELI, Nora worked at the Yale Office of Sustainability, conducted environmental health research in Haiti, and developed a report about the use of remote sensing for vegetation monitoring and legal compliance in Argentina’s energy industry. Nora earned a BA in Environmental Studies and a certificate in Energy Studies from Yale University, where her senior project explored transnational influences on Southeast Asia’s palm oil industry.
