Jordan Perry

Jordan Perry worked at ELI as a Research Associate from August 2021 to July 2023. Her work included assisting with the Environmental Law Reporter, researching potential policy avenues to support natural infrastructure programs along the Mississippi River as well as state approaches to improving ventilation in schools during the COVID-19 pandemic. She also contributed to ELI’s Food Waste Initiative by exploring best practices for meaningful community involvement in environmental decision-making. Prior to joining ELI, Jordan conducted research on how to increase accessibility to cooling centers in Northern Manhattan with the Yale Clinic in Climate Justice, Climate Policy, Law, and Public Health and worked as an Environmental Justice Intern at Black Women for Wellness in Los Angeles. She grew up in Ojai, California and graduated from Yale University in 2021 with a BA in Environmental Studies.
