Jessica Sugarman

Jessie Sugarman was a Policy Analyst at ELI from August 2022 until June 2024; in this role, she primarily supported the Food Waste Initiative, developing model policy tools to help municipalities reduce food waste. From July 2020 through July 2022, Jessie served as a Research Associate, during which time her projects included food waste as well as ELI’s Ocean Program, Innovation Lab, and Pro Bono Clearinghouse. Jessie grew up outside of Boston, Massachusetts and graduated with a BA in Public Policy from Brown University. After leaving ELI, Jessie went on to pursue a JD at Berkeley Law.
