ELI's work in creating resilient ecosystems focuses on protecting and restoring wetlands which provide valuable ecosystem services.
Our projects include:
• Working with the Mid Atlantic Regional Council on the Ocean (MARCO) to develop methods for identifying wetlands for restoration in order to protect vulnerable communities and ecosystems in the face of climate change.
• Creating benefits for both communities and ecosystems through floodplain acquisitions.
