Ms. Kendall is the Vice President for Corporate Affairs & Sustainability at Weyerhaeuser Company, a $6 billion/sales forest products company. She is responsible for the company’s Sustainability strategy and report, EHS programs such as auditing, remediation, regulatory affairs and technical support to operations, regional, national and international public policy, Corporate Communications such as WYTV, intra and internet websites and social media, and Corporate philanthropy. She has worked for the Weyerhaeuser Law Department and in the company’s Wood Products and Timberlands businesses. In addition to her work for Weyerhaeuser, Ms. Kendall worked as natural resource legislative counsel for Washington Senators Daniel J. Evans and Slade Gorton. She received a JD from the Georgetown University Law Center, a Master of Forest Science (MFS) from Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies, and a BA in Political Science from Northwestern University. She is a member of the Board of Directors for the Environmental Law Institute and a member of EPA’s National Advisory Council for Environmental Policy and Technology. She has previously served as an External Advisory Board Member of The Erb Institute at the University of Michigan, the Global Institute for Sustainable Forestry at the Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Sciences, and on the Design Committee for the Heinz Center for Science, Economics and the Environment State of the Nation’s Ecosystem Project. She is married to Bruce W. Kendall and has three children.
