An ELI and EDF Public Webinar

Join the Environmental Law Institute and Environmental Defense Fund for the 15th installment of ELI’s continuing legal education series: Community Lawyering for Environmental Justice. This webinar, “Building an Energy Future That Leaves No One Energy Poor,” will equip attorneys with practical insights and tools to advocate for energy security and equitable access to clean energy on behalf of their clients.

Along with EDF attorneys Curt Stokes and Jolette Westbrook, guest speakers Professor Destenie Nock and Karen Lusson will explore how to measure and address energy poverty, as well as how to use regulatory proceedings to lower energy bills and protect affordability. You will also hear how attorneys can support their clients to participate effectively in public utility proceedings, bring lived experience into energy regulatory decision-making, and achieve meaningful results.

Karen Lusson, Senior Attorney, National Consumer Law Center
