ELI President Confirmed as Assistant U.S. Attorney General

December 2014
The Senate recently confirmed ELI President John C. Cruden to be the Assistant U.S. Attorney General of the Environment and Natural Resources Division following his nomination by President Obama this year. John has served as President of ELI since July 2011 and he has led the organization to numerous record accomplishments in advancing the environment through research, education, and publications. John will be remembered as a natural leader, known for building morale and not fearing to embark on new initiatives. He will be greatly missed by ELI board and staff alike.
