Monthly Climate Change Briefing: March 2015

March 9, 2015

Staying on top of the legal and policy developments in the climate change arena is no small task. As a special service to our members, the Environmental Law Institute provides a series of monthly conference calls with national experts on climate law and policy to keep you up to date and to answer your questions.

Topics addressed in this month's call:

    • CA decision upholding the offset program under AB32
    • W.D. WA decision about state water quality standards and ocean acidification
    • MS Supreme Court decision on the rate increase due to the CCS system at the Kemper project
    • KXL veto
    • Possible implications of the DHS appropriations/immigration results for the likely appropriations showdown in September over EPA's power plant, truck, methane and aviation rules
    • Summary of Sabin Center for Climate Change Law's recent study about climate change litigation outside the U.S. and how it compares to climate litigation inside the U.S.
