An ELI and EDF Public Webinar
Join the Environmental Law Institute, Environmental Defense Fund, and ELI’s Pro Bono Clearinghouse for the 13th installment of ELI’s continuing legal education series: Community Lawyering for Environmental Justice. This webinar, "Energy Affordability and the Power of Community Voices," will equip attorneys with the tools to advocate for greater energy security and equitable access to clean energy on behalf of their clients.
Environmental Defense Fund attorneys and guest speakers will explain how attorneys can support their clients to participate in public utility proceedings, contribute their experiences and insights to energy regulatory decision-making, and secure meaningful outcomes. We will cover topics such as maximizing intervenor compensation, developing compelling community testimony, and pairing technical experts with community members to build strong, persuasive cases. We will also highlight real-world examples where community voices influenced the outcome of energy decisions.
