SUN is a partnership of businesses, government, community groups, and universities that seeks to empower and organize West End Louisville Enterprise neighborhood residents by creating opportunities for residents to rebuild impoverished neighborhoods. The SUN design team assists not-for-profit community development corporations by developing and preserving affordable, attractive, and accessible housing and businesses. SUN empowers residents in the leadership of their communities, supports affordable home ownership programs, improves neighborhood parks and open spaces, and generates opportunities for the economic development of local businesses.
