CPEO works with environmental justice and other community groups around the country on brownfields, other cleanup, and military environmental issues. They publish the Citizens Report on Brownfields and the Citizens Report on Military and the Environment. CPEO also conducts research in brownfields communities and convenes the National Environmental Justice / Community Brownfields Caucus. CPEO operates two internet listserves: The Brownfields Internet Forum and the Military Environmental Forum, both of which are archived on CPEO's web site. That web site also contains the Technology Tree, a user-friendly tool for identifying and learning about innovative cleanup technologies. The Tree is designed to make it easier for public stakeholders to participate in the selection of cleanup remedies."
