An ELI Public Seminar
Join the Environmental Law Institute and Farella Braun + Martel for the next installment of “Unplugged: The Renewable Energy Speaker Series.” This program will be held live at Farella Braun + Martel’s San Francisco office and will also be livestreamed via Zoom webinar.
This August marked the two-year anniversary of the passage of the Inflation Reduction Act, the single largest legislative investment in climate and energy in American history. Outside groups have estimated that the Inflation Reduction Act’s energy and climate provisions have created more than 170,000 jobs. Additionally, over $110 billion in energy manufacturing investments have been announced from companies since it was signed into law.
This seminar will discuss the status of the Inflation Reduction Act two years after its passage, as well as its impact on renewable energy development. What successes and challenges have emerged from implementing the Inflation Reduction Act? What funding opportunities are available for project developers, frontline communities, and other interested parties? How is all of this affecting the energy transition? Our experts will discuss these questions and so much more during the program.
