An ELI ELI Professional Development Webinar

Product stewardship is an everchanging field as innovation and regulation spark and govern the lifecycle of consumer products. There are several pressing issues at the forefront of product stewardship including classifications, materials restrictions and disclosures, end-of-life, used equipment designations and the transboundary movement of used goods, and more. How do these fit into the growing desire towards and the practices of a circular economy?

Moderator Sarah Wightman will explore these issues alongside sustainable procurement, conflict mineral policies, and life-cycle design with expert panelist Jonathan Nwagbaraocha. Speakers will have a special emphasis on e-waste as technology continues to develop at a rapid pace, and in turn quickly becomes obsolete. Please join the Environmental Law Institute, Emerging Leaders Initiative, and leading speakers to explore product stewardship in the rapidly evolving global regulatory and geopolitical context of the circular economy.

ELI ELI Professional Development Webinars are for the exclusive benefit of Emerging Leaders.

Panelists:
Sarah Wightman, Associate Corporate Counsel, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Moderator
Jonathan Nwagbaraocha, Environment, Health, Safety and Sustainability Counsel / Compliance Leader, Xerox
