The Environmental Law Institute is pleased to welcome its Emerging Leaders for a summer virtual networking session, featuring opening remarks from Renee Stone. Renee serves as Senior Vice President of Conservation Programs and General Counsel at the Defenders of Wildlife and holds over 25 years of experience in the federal government, non-profit organizations and private legal practice. Renee has held senior policy, legal, and management positions at the U.S. Department of Interior, U.S. Department of Energy, and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, as well as the Natural Resources Defense Council and other non-profit organizations. Utilizing her wealth of experience, Renee will explore how to navigate career transitions in the environmental law and policy space.

Following Renee’s opening remarks, Emerging Leaders are invited to network on Remo through tables specifically devoted to a variety of practice areas. Spanning across all realms of environmental law and policy, groups will dive into specialties ranging from hazardous substances, agriculture, water, climate change, and more. Through this layout, Emerging Leaders can exchange experiences on areas of environmental law and policy in which they are currently working in or are hoping to pursue.

Join the Environmental Law Institute, Renee Stone, and fellow Emerging Leaders for an evening of embracing career development and transition in the environmental law and policy sphere.

ELI ELI programs are for the exclusive benefit of Emerging Leaders.
