CNT is a non-profit organization, founded in 1978, that helps build sustainable communities by linking economic and community development with ecological improvement. The Center's work in public policy, market development, and community planning is grounded in the Chicago region and is national in scope. CNT sits on the President's Council for Sustainable Development, and works to apply the benefits of sustainable development to Chicago neighborhoods.
