Alameda County Community Development Agency

In 2012, the Alameda County Board of Supervisors authorized the County of Alameda, through the Community Development Agency, to serve as both the Successor Agency and Successor Housing Agency to the former Redevelopment Agency of the County of Alameda. The goals of the redevelopment project area include:  rehabilitation and expansion of existing commercial businesses; development of new commercial businesses at certain strategic locations; improvements to the physical appearance of the street, and increased numbers of first-time homebuyers in the surrounding residential neighborhoods. The agency provides technical assistance, training, and regulatory enforcement services.
