Kieran recently graduated with a BA (Phi Beta Kappa) from Oberlin College, an environmental studies and economics double major and creative writing minor. He is interested in environmental histories, innovative storytelling, and new technologies for climate change adaptation in remote, rural, and indigenous communities. He has had the opportunity to do research and work in the Navajo Nation, Alaska, Egypt, India, and Australia. At ELI, Kieran is working on projects related to water technology, tribal environmental governance, comparative international law, and environmental justice. He hopes to continue working in the environmental nonprofit sector before attending graduate school on a Truman Scholarship.
