Jessye Waxman
Jessye Waxman is a Research Associate at the Environmental Law Institute, where her work has focused on climate adaptation, wetlands planning, environmental rule of law, TMDLs, environmental justice, and environmental peacebuilding. She also serves as the Environmental Peacebuilding Coordinator and a Managing Editor of ELI’s blog, Vibrant Environment. Prior to joining ELI, Jessye worked at EcoPeace Middle East, an environmental peacebuilding organization based in Jordan, Israel, and Palestine. Outside of the office, Jessye works with the World Youth Parliament for Water to empower and mobilize youth around the world to advance solutions to local water challenges and works on environmental education initiatives in DC. She holds a BA in Environmental Sciences and Policy from Duke University.
