Christina Libre joined the Environmental Law Institute as a Research Associate in August 2017. Her work at ELI includes, among other things, supporting the implementation of climate change adaptation measures abroad and providing guidance on indoor air quality issues to tenants in the United States. Prior to joining ELI, Christina explored the intersections of health concerns and the built environment through internships with the DC Department of Energy and Environment and the National Low Income Housing Coalition; conducted research on environmental justice in the coalfields of Central Appalachia; and successfully encouraged her university to pursue environmentally-sound investments. Christina is originally from Maryland and holds a B.A. from Georgetown University, where she studied Environmental Studies, Art History, and Spanish.
