Back by popular demand, the annual review of the year’s most significant NY judicial, regulatory and administrative developments by leading practitioners and professors of environmental law hosted by the Environmental Law Institute (Washington, DC) and the Environmental Law Committee of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York. The 2003 edition of “New York Environmental Law — Year in Review” took place on April 24 at the City Bar’s Midtown location.

Panelists Michael B. Gerrard (Arnold & Porter), Scott N. Fein (Whiteman Osterman & Hanna) and Philip Weinberg (St. John’s University School of Law), covered the past year’s important developments in NY law and highlighted emerging developments in SEQRA, pollution control, hazardous waste and oil spill liability, wetlands regulation, energy facility siting, regulatory takings and land use planning.
