The Environmental Law Institute is located at 1730 M Street, NW, Washington, DC (MAP). Please note: Both on street metered parking and private parking in the building are limited. Public transportation or taxi service may be more convenient than access via private automobile.
ELI is located on the seventh floor in Suite 700. Upon exiting the elevator, you will see our entry doors. If you are visiting a staff member or attending a seminar, please check in with the receptionist.
METRORAIL: Our office is near exits to the Red and Orange/Blue/Silver lines.
Red Line (1 block): Take the Metro to Farragut North, exit via the 17th and L Street exit, walk North along the East side of Connecticut Avenue, and make a right on M Street. 1730 M Street will be on your right, about mid-block.
Orange/Blue/Silver Lines (3 blocks): Take the Metro to Farragut West. Exit via the 17th & I Street exit, walk on the West side of Farragut Square, passing K, L, and DeSales Streets. Turn right on M Street.

PARKING: Commercial parking is available under the 1730 M Street building. Hours of operation are from 7am to 11pm. The entrance to the garage is on M Street but you must approach the building from the East (17th Street) since M Street is a one-way street.
