Aletta Brady joined ELI as a Research Associate in 2015. At ELI, her research focuses on supporting healthy Gulf of Mexico communities and ecosystems, using federal laws towards environmental justice, and international environmental dispute resolution and access to justice. In addition to her work at ELI, she is a member of the U.S. National Commission to UNESCO Youth Working Group and the DC-Sierra Club Environmental Justice Committee. Prior to joining ELI, her work included conducting both qualitative and quantitative research on freshwater negotiation, mechanisms for stronger public participation in the political process, and developing interview mechanisms for advancing effective multi-stakeholder engagement. Aletta received a BA (Honors) in Political Science from Wesleyan University in 2015.
