Book Presentation: Derecho Ambiental en la Práctica Privada (Environmental Law in Private Practice) by Dante Figueroa
Mr. Figueroa presented Derecho Ambiental en la Práctica Privada, which provides insight into implementation of environmental requirements for natural resource development projects in Chile. He highlighted general aspects of environmental law relevant to parties doing business in Chile. Specific areas of discussion included Chilean environmental laws and regulations regarding mining, manufacturing, telecommunications, aquaculture, agricultural exports, and energy, and their U.S. counterparts. The Chilean National Commission for the Environment sponsored the publication.
