Back by popular demand, the annual review of the year’s most significant NY judicial, regulatory and administrative developments by leading practitioners and professors of environmental law was hosted by the Environmental Law Institute and the Environmental Law Committee of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York. Michael B. Gerrard (Arnold & Porter), Scott N. Fein (Whiteman Osterman & Hanna) and Philip Weinberg (St. John’s University School of Law) discussed the past year’s important developments in NY law and highlighted emerging developments in SEQRA, pollution control, hazardous waste and oil spill liability, wetlands regulation, brownfields redevelopment, regulatory takings and land use planning. The seminar was moderated by Vivian Buckingham (Environmental Law Institute).
