Water Resources Management Projects
- ELI is studying water resource use and opportunities for water re-use and efficiency, with a project currently focused on Puget Sound.
- ELI examines federal, state, and local watershed measures to protect water resources and assure their availability for use while maintaining ecological and hydrological integrity of watersheds, estuaries, basins, and groundwater systems. Current ongoing projects include work in the Chesapeake Bay Watershed, projects in Pennsylvania and Maryland, and a focus on ecosystem-based management in coastal areas.
- ELI works on Ecological Indicators useful for management of watersheds and water resources systems.
