Local Government Implementation of Long-Term Stewardship at Two DOE Facilities

ELI and ECA developed this report to assist local, state, and tribal governments, citizens, DOE contractors, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, DOE, and others to develop a better understanding of the long-term stewardship roles that local governments currently undertake at DOE sites. This report can help educate local communities and all other participants in long-term stewardship on the issues associated with implementing long-term stewardship.
