Frequently Asked Questions

When is the deadline for purchasing tickets?
You must purchase tickets by Friday, October 13. Credit card payment is required for all table and individual ticket purchases. Reservations are made upon receipt of payment. If you would like to purchase tickets or tables by check, please contact the awards dinner team at dinner@eli.org.

How do I know if I qualify for the ELI Member rate?

How do I ensure my party is seated together?
Individuals may purchase up to four tickets (to be seated together unless requested otherwise). If you are purchasing more than one ticket OR if the attendee is not the cardholder, please make sure that the names and affiliations of all attendees are noted during checkout so that the appropriate people are registered for the event. Your guests will not be allowed into the event unless they have been pre-registered. All guest names must be received by October 13, 2023.

I would like to purchase a table. Who do I contact for an invoice?
Invoices for table purchases are available upon request. Contact Kathy Wei to arrange for an invoice and/or payment by credit card.

How will I receive my ticket to the event?
Your preprinted nametag is your ticket into the event and must be picked up at the event registration desk.

I would like to stay in Washington, DC before or after the event. Does ELI have a discounted room block?
Yes! You are most welcome to book your room at the Omni Shoreham Hotel through this link.

What steps are ELI taking to prioritize safety amidst the ongoing effects of COVID-19?
ELI requests that all guests are fully vaccinated (as stipulated by the CDC at the time of the event) or have a recent negative test for COVID-19 prior to attending the Award Dinner and other in-person events. ELI also reserves the right to cancel the in-person event at any time based on CDC guidelines and DC Health guidelines and mandates. We thank you for your patience with us as we navigate the new normal for events.
