Each summer the ELI Summer School Series teaches summer law clerks and interns about the legal foundations of environmental protection in the United States. On June 21, 2006, ELI hosted an introductory seminar to expose our visitors to the myriad possible career applications of this knowledge. This year’s panel represented the spectrum of parties working in environmental policy and included Kris Genovese (Defenders of Wildlife), Amanda Leiter (Natural Resources Defense Council and Visiting Professor at Georgetown University Law Center beginning summer 2006), Jackson Morrill (Beveridge & Diamond PC), Morgan Robertson (US Environmental Protection Agency), and Sarah Wu (Environmental Law Institute).
