This four-part webinar series will enhance your understanding of the complex range of legal, regulatory, product stewardship, standard setting, and private retailer initiatives influencing the marketing, distribution, and sale of products with significant chemical components. Participants will also develop a greater understanding of chemical regulation in the U.S. and abroad and future policy and directional changes.

Webinar #2: Setting Standards Beyond Regulations (Tuesday, November 19; 3 - 4:30 PM)

Myriad standards for products with a significant chemical component exist outside of the regulatory structure. Building on the first webinar’s focus on traditional regulatory requirements, the second webinar examined how standards beyond and apart from the regulatory structure—including private standards such as ISO and ANSI—are developed for chemicals. Participants also learned how such standards affect industry, including product design and materials selection.
