An ELI Public Event and Webinar

Join the California Air Resources Board (CARB), the Environmental Law Institute (ELI), Foley Hoag LLP, and Baker Botts LLP for an intimate discussion with CARB Chair Liane Randolph and Director of the Climate Program at Berkeley Law’s Center for Law, Energy & the Environment, Ethan Elkind. Our moderator will lead a conversation about where we are on climate policy and action in the state of California, CARB’s vision for addressing climate change and the related challenges, and the future of these policy dynamics.

What recent climate policy developments have occurred in California? What are CARB’s main priorities in the coming months and years? How do these priorities affect both air quality and climate goals? How are community priorities being incorporated? Join the discussion to cover these questions and so much more!

The event will be offered both in-person and online. For those attending in person, there will be a lunch starting at 12:00 pm PT. The discussion will be streamed via Zoom from 12:30 pm PT to 1:30 pm PT. After the panel, there will be time for brief in-person networking from 1:30 pm PT to 2:00 pm PT.
