The rise in popularity of electric vehicles is creating a need for increased charging infrastructure. The development of this infrastructure brings significant challenges. Our panel discussed the ways in which these challenges are being solved.

Electric vehicles may offer a number of environmental and energy security benefits. The demand for these vehicles, however, will be limited in the absence of infrastructure to provide convenient access to electricity. Our panel discussed the legal issues facing the development of infrastructure for electric vehicles and the potential impacts these vehicles may have on our environment and energy security.
