Emerging Leaders Initiative Membership Application

The Environmental Law Institute’s (ELI) Emerging Leaders Initiative (ELI-ELI) was created to facilitate the development of the next generation of rising stars in environmental law and policy by providing them with a forum to network, develop mentorship relationships, and encounter cutting edge legal and policy issues. Nominated by longstanding leaders of environment, energy, and natural resources law and policy, Emerging Leaders will benefit from a host of exclusive opportunities, resources, and programming - all of which are uniquely designed for those newly practicing environmental law and policy. Nomination

The aim of ELI ELI is to identify and connect emerging leaders in the environmental law and policy space. As such, nominations by current ELI Board Members, ELI Leadership Council, ELI ELI Steering Committee members, or ELI Staff (Staff Liaison can be the listed nominator for those who have participated in ELI Boot Camp on Environmental Law) are required. Please identify your nominating individual below and check the box for their corresponding affiliation. We will reach out to these folks to confirm their nomination of you:

ELI ELI Annual Participation Fee

Please note that ELI-ELI participation requires payment of an annual fee, due upon notification of enrollment in the Initiative:

  • Standard: $300
  • Government, NGO, Academia: $200
