Stanley Legro is the Chairman of Pacific Action Resources in Rancho Santa Fe, California. Previously in his career, he has served as the assistant administrator for the U.S. EPA from 1975 to 1977, national secretary of the Harvard University Alumni Association from 1977 to 1980, counsel for Piper Rudnick from 2002 to 2005, and held private practices in San Diego and Washington. He was also Adjunct Professor at the University of San Diego Law School from 1968 to 1975 and was the Adjunct Fellow at the Center for Strategic and International Studies in Washington from 1989 to 1993. Mr. Legro was appointed member of the National Advisory Committee on Oceans and Atmosphere from 1985 to 1989, member of the San Diego Planning Commission from 1971 to 1973, Board member of the University of San Diego Law School (current), Board of Trustees of the University of San Diego (current), and an officer of the US Marine Corps from 1959 to 1963. Mr. Legro holds a B.S. in Engineering from the U.S. Naval Academy and a J.D. from Harvard University.
