Monthly Climate Change Briefing

A special service for ELI’s institutional members, this monthly 30-minute conference call provides a valuable way to keep on top of the legal and policy developments in the climate change arena.

Three national experts on climate law regularly participate in this series:
Kyle W. Danish, Partner, Van Ness Feldman, P.C.
Michael B. Gerrard, Director, Center for Climate Change Law, Columbia Law School
Manik Roy, Director of Congressional Affairs for the Pew Center on Global Climate Change

The topics discussed during the July 19, 2010 call included:

  • Impact of EPA’s Transport Rule on EPA’s ability to create a greenhouse gas trading system under the CAA and on greenhouse regulation from utilities
  • Status of state Property Assessment for Clean Energy (PACE) loan programs, and challenges to these programs by federal housing authorities
  • Fate of climate change in the U.S. Senate

Members may log on to access the mp3 recording.

The Climate Briefing series is made possible by the generous support of our institutional members.
