Complying with Material Bans and RoHS Legislation
European RoHS legislation imposes significant content restrictions on electronic products marketed in Europe. Similar measures have been enacted or proposed in a number of jurisdictions in Asia and Latin America, most notably, China. In the United States, California has also restricted the sale of certain products that are not EU RoHS compliant with many other states contemplating similar legislation aimed at the design and material content of electronic products.
