ELR® Launches New On-line Service on International Environmental Law, Laws of Other Nations

Practitioners in the burgeoning field of international environmental law and attorneys who work with the environmental laws of other nations have a new ally from an old friend. ELR® – The Environmental Law Reporter®, which has been the essential resource for the environmental, toxic torts, natural resource, and land use professional for more than 30 years, announces a new on-line reporting service — available for free at http://www.elr.info/index.cfm through September 30, 2000.

International News & Analysis from ELR® is a new Internet-only service providing information on topics such as trade and the environment, standard setting, sustainable development, biodiversity, climate change, and environmental laws of both developed and developing nations. International News & Analysis features frequently updated analyses on global environmental developments written by ELR’s staff of attorney-editors. The service also presents expert authors from around the world who provide commentary and insight on critical issues in detailed articles written expressly for professionals in the field. The site also provides links that to numerous governmental and organizational Web sites.

International News & Analysis joins the growing family of ELR® specialty environmental legal reporting services available on the Environmental Law Institute’s Web site at http://www.elr.info/index.cfm. These include portions of ELR’s flagship publication,ELR® News & Analysis, as well as ELR® News & Analysis Federal and State Developments, State News & Analysis from ELR®, and ELR® Update. This fall, ELR® will launch Health and Safety News & Analysis from ELR® on the site.
