Directions to ELI

The Environmental Law Institute is located at 2000 L Street, NW, Washington, DC. Please note: Both on street metered parking and private parking in the building are limited. Public transportation or taxi service may be more convenient than access via private automobile.

ELI is located on the sixth floor in Suite 620. Upon exiting the elevator, you will see our angled glass doors. If you are visiting a staff member, please call his/her extension on the silver phone to the right of the doors. For seminars, the conference room is to the left as you enter.

METRORAIL: Our office is near exits to the Red, Orange, and Blue lines.

Red Line: Take the Metro to Farragut North. Take the L Street exit from the center set of escalators to the SW corner of L Street and Connecticut Avenue. Walk LEFT (west) on L Street away from Connecticut Avenue. Continue across 18th, 19th, and 20th Streets. 2000 L Street will be on your left. Enter through the glass atrium in the middle of the block. Orange and Blue Lines: Take the Metro to Farragut West. Exit via the 18th Street exit to the NW corner of 18th and I Streets. Continuing in the direction the escalator is traveling, walk North on 18th toward K Street. Cross K Street and take a LEFT on L Street. Continue across 19th and 20th Streets. 2000 L Street will be on your left. Enter through the glass atrium in the middle of the block. Here is a map of the area from The Map Network.

METROBUS: Service from the L2 line drops you off at the corner of 21st and L Streets. Service from the D6 and 38B lines drops you off at 20th and K Streets. PARKING: Commercial parking is available under the 2000 L Street building. Hours of operation are from 7am to 11pm. The entrance to the garage is on L Street.
