FWS removed the island night lizard from the list of endangered and threatened wildlife due to recovery of the species.
United States v. NCR Corp., No. 10-cv-910 (E.D. Wis. Mar. 26, 2014). Under three consent decrees, settling defendants responsible for PCB contamination in sediment at the Lower Fox River and Green Bay Superfund site in northeastern Wisconsin must pay $45.9 million toward natural resource damages; must pay slightly more than $8 million to defray future costs of overseeing ongoing cleanup work by non-settlers; and must pay slightly less than $1.6 million in past and future costs incurred by the United States.
