For more than 25 years, Rob Kirsch has focused his practice on helping clients to anticipate, manage and litigate their environmental liabilities. His work includes representing clients in all forms of legal controversies, including the criminal, civil and administrative proceedings used by federal and state enforcement officials. He regularly counsels businesses regarding a wide range of environmental compliance questions, including the environmental liability aspects of proposed transactions, as well as the implications of anticipated or proposed environmental statutory or regulatory developments in areas as diverse as climate change, hydraulic fracturing and nano-technology.

He has been listed by Chambers for his environmental work as a Leading Lawyer in America, annually, since 2004, and he was elected to the American College of Environmental Lawyers. In 2008, he was named one of three “Lawyers of the Year” by the Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly for his efforts on behalf of pro bono clients. He holds a B.S. from Middlebury College and a J.D. from the Cornell Law School.
